Specialist sports and mentoring coaches will work with young people who are identified as vulnerable which, without early intervention, could develop into more serious criminal activities and/or exploitation by others. The project will aim to: Increase positive mental health and self-esteem Increase understanding of risk-taking behaviours and vulnerabilities Build resilience and create a safe environment to achieve a sense of belonging Provide greater awareness of the dangers of social media and also how to stay safe in the community raise aspirations in education and inspire young leaders Provide learning and post course access to low-cost opportunities
